Bonds In Ministry was started in March of 2024, with a goal of sharing thoughts, opinions, and biblical insight on a multitude of topics and issues that Christians face today. We serve as a resource to build community, offer perspective, and create an opportunity for people to draw closer to Jesus.

Our Story

Founded by Connor Bond, "Bonds In Ministry" was an idea born from his passion for connecting with people on a deeper level, specifically regarding their faith journey. A spirit-filled trip to Big Bend National Park was a big inspiration for the foundations of the site you see today.

While paddling through Boquillas Canyon in Big Bend, the presence of the Lord was heavy. Members in the group shared discussions, powerful testimonies, and were constantly laying hands on one another in prayer. After seeing how much the Holy Spirit moved, Connor felt stirred to continue the work of the Spirit through Bonds In Ministry.

When returning from the wilderness, Connor and his beautiful fiancé Rachel decided to team up and create Bonds In Ministry. We offer blogs, articles, and media that allows readers to engage with faith-based topics. With several featured writers, and occasional guest writers, Bonds In Ministry now exists to help people draw closer to Jesus. We invite everyone to come explore what it means to be a follower of Christ in the world today!

Connor Bond

My name is Connor, and it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to Bonds In Ministry. I came to true faith in my second year of college, when I discovered that God wants our heart more than anything else (Hosea 6:6, 1 Sam 13:7). I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant at Baylor University, finishing up my Masters Degree in Sport Pedagogy. I am stepping into the world of vocational ministry, where I pray I can use my gifts and talents to serve the kingdom of God. Im so excited to serve our readers, and let the Lord speak through this project!

My name is Rachel Burduroglu. I am a recent gradaute with a Masters of Science from Baylor University. I moved to Waco in 2022 because the Lord called me there for a work opportunirty. A month into working at Baylor I met my soon to be husband, Connor Bond. We are excited to be working together on this project as we share what the Lord is revealing to us and doing in our lives. Hello, I’m Mason! I’m a Baylor graduate, Park Ranger with the National Park Service, lover of history, and most importantly a disciple of the Living God! Although raised in the church, I truly became a follower of Christ while living in rural New Mexico in February of 2023. I’d encourage anyone interested to check out my testimony for deeper insight into my experience. I write blog posts for Bonds In Ministry, sharing my thoughts, experiences, and reflections in my walk with the Lord. I am passionate about the foundational component of scripture in the mission of Bonds In Ministry; one can expect to see citations and references to scripture in my posts.
